Paper Kite - a poem by Rajiv Lather |
One who is flying so high,
will soon come down to earth
with strutting unreal ways
you cause boredom & mirth.
Clearly you don't appreciate
that to achieve an higher aim,
lots of flexibility is needed
in your stiff & stilted frame.
When you are dancing above
always remember and care
what keeps you aloft are
little sticks & gusts of air.
Consider who holds the string
that steers your flimsy flight,
in His strong and tender hands,
O’ tethered paper kite!
