Lesser whistling Duck (Dendrocygna javanica), also called Lesser Whistling Teal, is a local breeding summer visitor. This bird is found in small flocks in the wetlands of Haryana, and other parts of India. Identification: Sexes alike. A smallish pale brown duck, maroon chestnut color on upper parts. Chestnut upper tail coverts.
