Greater Spotted Eagle (Aquila clanga). This bird is a common winter visitor in the wetlands of Haryana. Greater Spotted Eagle is now globally threatened. Just a little bigger than the Black Kite, it is brownish black in color with white specks on body and wings. This bird can be distinguished from the similar Lesser spotted Eagle, by its white under tail-coverts.
