Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), also called Large Cormorant. This bird is a very common breeding resident.   Order: CICONIIFORMES    Family: Phalacrocoracidae    Size: 80 cm    Local Name: Bada Pan Kowwa

This bird is found in wetlands of Haryana. It is the size of a domestic duck, black in color. It feeds on fish which it hunts by diving underwater.
