Red-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus cafer). This bird is a very common breeding resident,
found in all habitats of Haryana. It is bird is a smoky brown bird with a
partially crested black head and with a distinct crimson patch under the root of the tail. Commonly seen on garden trees
in Haryana. Its food consists of berries, insects and fruits.
