Lesser Spotted Eagle (Aquila pomarina). This bird is a rare resident in Haryana, found in open areas and wetlands.

Just a little bigger than the Black Kite, it is difficult to differentiate from the similar Greater spotted Eagle. Its prey consists of frogs, lizards and young birds. It can be regularly seen at the Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary.
