Order: CICONIIFORMES Family: Accipitridae Size: 65 cm Locally name: Pahari Teesa Just a little bigger than the Black Kite, it is difficult to differentiate from the similar Greater spotted Eagle. Its prey consists of frogs, lizards and young birds. It can be regularly seen at the Bhindawas Bird Sanctuary. |
